On the evening, a panel discussion was held on future developments in UK infrastructure. The discussion was chaired by Mark Paul, the Irish Times’ London Correspondent, who also covered issues across Great Britain for the paper.
Originally from Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, Mark had previously been based in Dublin as the author of the Caveat column and as the paper’s Business Affairs Correspondent.
Before joining the Irish Times, he worked for the Sunday Times and frequently appeared on radio and television in Ireland to discuss business and wider current affairs.
Check out Malcolm McNally's fantastic photos from the evening.
